On the New Adventures Tour you’ll discover young, independent local fashion designers; contemporary jewellery design; a vintage photobooth and lo-fi photography gallery; Roller Derby sticker design; delicate papercut illustration; millinery; and fantasy clock sculptures which have to be seen to be believed.

You may have noticed that we are now stocking a small range of artist made soft toys, prints, CDRs, cassettes, comics, zines and more alongside our regular art collection and scheduled exhibitions. You'll hear much more about this over the coming weeks, but first up we'd like you to know about a super awesome new zine, 'Poisonous Hearts.' This is a comic compilation made by Peter Kozak and a group of artists from Melbourne and Tasmania. We have a limited number for sale, or you can just pop in and read one as you relax in the gallery reading/relaxing seat.
It's finally here! Word Hurl Anti-slam in 2012. Put it on your calendar folks 'cause on Sunday the twenty-fifth of March things are going to get wordy. Newcastle's most effusive spoken word night. So come, oh yes, please do.
